We thought we should introduce ourselves!

We are Rob & Amber.

Rob is a small animal veterinarian who grew up on a hill farm in Northumberland. He studied at the University of Edinburgh and has worked for the last 15 years in many different vet practices; from the outer Hebrides to Sri Lanka! He's friendly, relaxed, down to earth and prides himself on building good relationships with clients and their pets. He once had a family travel over 300 miles so he could be the surgeon to perform a lap spay for their beloved spaniel!

Rob and I have been together the best part of a decade and share two gorgeous daughters. We married in August and have now made North Shields our home. We love it here; from the beaches, landmarks, friendly faces, the artwork and great coffee. We are so excited to become a part of this bustling community.

I am a clinical psychologist and will be applying my skills in management and leadership to help create a nurturing and positive work culture as practice manager. I'll be running our social media accounts and you will also see me at the reception desk too.

When we aren't with the kids at the beach or park you might see me running along the beachfront. Rob's interests are more creative....he is a brilliant painter and has produced some wonderful pet portraits in the past.

We collected the keys this weekend and work will begin next week. We can't wait to get underway with turning the practice into a welcoming and modern facility for you and your pets.
