Whoever your pet is, with swap to North Shields Vets. I swapped from a north east vet to North Shields and it's the best move I made. Reg the Dog literally "bounces" into the practice every time whereas I'd have to carry him out of the car to his previous one. They say animals can tell and I can 100% endorse Regs feelings. Despite only 3 visits in a couple of months, I already feel the staff know Reg. Not only are they accommodating, sympathetic and understanding of the pets, they are of us pet parents too, every single member of staff is. Rob the vet is an absolute angel, he is caring, patient and gentle AND he goes above and beyond to provide help, advice and guidance for treatments at home meaning your pet may not need that "rush in" - he definitely is not a "Commercialised" vet, he is a "pet-vet" which is what I expect and unfortunately, a rare find these days!. You cannot dispute their fees either, more than reasonable and I can categorically state that having come from a practice, Reg has the same conditions but I'm not "wincing" at the cost! Even if Reg didn't need to go see the vet in a while, I'd probably just take him for a visit - he loves them and I think they love him and THAT is everything for me and Reg 😉

My 1st visit and i was made to feel welcome as the staff were so nice and friendly . The pricing was a massive shock (in a very good way) compared to our old vets. I would totally recommend to anyone.

Everyone was really friendly from registering and booking an appointment to the actual appointment and after. It was the first visit for my cat who can be nervous but she was fine. I was very impressed with the vet and the way he dealt with my cat and the outcome of the consultation. I have no hesitation in recommending this practice.

Absolutely amazing ! Robert is a fantastic vet , saw my dog immediately and looked after her before and after surgery, took time out to talk to us and even walked us outside to make sure she was ok after her surgery! Best experience ever,! The receptionist was really nice too ! Definitely recommend this practice

They've now had two procedures, and on both occasions they were treated with so much kindness, compassion, and professionalism. We attended an open day for this new veterinary practice in North Shields.the staff were incredible welcoming and engaging. The facilities and equipment are top tier. The location is perfect and easy to get to and find. I feel my pets will be getting the best possible care at this practice.

First visit for Alfie since moving to North Shields Vets. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The reception and surgery are very clean and tidy. Rob, the vet, was very helpful and answered all our queries in an easy to understand manner and gave us lots of good advice. Highly recommended

Wonderful, kind, and welcoming team! My dog needed x-rays and sedation today to confirm a cruciate ligament injury. The vet was incredibly patient, explaining the issue clearly and setting up a specialist referral for us. It is so refreshing to find a private vet that genuinely cares and charges a third of the price of the big corporate clinics locally. A truly excellent practice that I highly recommend.

I've had cats and dogs before, either rescued, or family pets as a kid. I've never had an 11 week old ball of feral kitten energy before. I was actually nervous, genuinely nervous about how it was going to go. That's an emotional response that's so alien to me it, that I was visualising, my darling ball of little terror hanging from the light shade level of nervous. These guys honestly fantastic. I can't recommend enough. I really can't. Great job - great people. The human touch

Cannot praise Robert enough at North Shields vets, he was so caring, he took time and care to explain fully what was going to happen, we had to have our dog Bruce put to sleep, Robert made a stressful situation peaceful for our pet, would highly recommend this vets practice, thank you for your kindness and care
